We know that reaching out for support takes courage, and waiting months for a first appointment shouldn’t be part of the process. At Sprout, we are committed to getting you connected with the right therapist quickly, because we believe starting should feel like a relief, not another hurdle.
We serve people across Oregon because mental health care shouldn’t depend on where you live.
Whether you’re in a rural community, in the Willamette Valley, on the coast, in the gorge, or anywhere in between, we offer affirming, accessible therapy that meets you where you are, by telehealth or in person at our Portland offices in North Tabor and St. John’s.
We’re proud to serve the LGBTQ community and provide culturally respectful care for all.

Yes. We offer telehealth therapy across the state of Oregon, in addition to in-person sessions at our two Portland offices.

The phone screening is a short introductory call with our Intake Coordinator. It’s the first step to getting started at Sprout. During the call, we’ll talk about what you’re looking for, your availability, your insurance, and what kind of support feels right for you. It’s a low-pressure conversation to make sure we’re a good fit before anything is scheduled.
Please note: the screening is not a therapy session and does not establish care with Sprout Therapy PDX.
Most clients are matched with a therapist during or shortly after their screening. If you have specific preferences, like a particular type of therapy, a provider who takes a certain insurance plan, or other requirements, there may be a wait to find the right match. We’ll be upfront with you on the call about timing.
Not necessarily. It depends on what’s most helpful for you. Some clients just work with a therapist or our prescriber. Others may benefit from a more connected approach, where your therapist collaborates with additional providers like a case manager or peer support specialist. Any additional services are always optional and based on your needs and preferences.
We offer individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and therapy for kids & teens. We also offer group support for those in polyamorous and ethical non monogamous relationships. Therapy is available both in person and via telehealth.
